Iconography workshop and retreat

This workshop be held at St. Paul Newman Center in Fargo, May 17-22, 2024. It will include the creation of one icon; The Mother of God. You will learn about icons and the ancient process of painting or writing an icon. No art experience is necessary. This workshop will be taught by Christine Jentz from Lumen Christi Art. Christine is a professional iconographer with many years of training. She has done workshops for beginners and advanced students around the midwest. You can see her work at  www.lumenchristiart.com.

To keep the price down, no food or housing will be provided. You may bring your own lunch or purchase sandwhiches/salads at the Newman Coffee Bar. We will begin Friday evening at 4pm for just a few hours. 
Workshop time: 9:00am-4:00pm with time for lunch and breaks starting on Saturday. We will end Wednesday after lunch time.
