“Unveiling the Real Presence” presented by Fr. Kyle Metzger
A recent Pew Research Study concluded barely one-third of Catholics believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Fr. Kyle Metzger will offer some insights into what may have caused this troubling loss of faith in the Eucharist and a path forward to reawaken belief in this perennial doctrine of the Church.
“St. Thérèse and Her Parents: Extraordinary Saints in Ordinary Ways” presented by Ms. Ashley Grunhovd
Session one will focus on the heroic witness of St. Thérèse of Lisieux’s parents, Sts. Louis and Zélie Martin, and how they became saints through their vocation as spouses, parents, and entrepreneurs, amid both mundane and tragic times. Session two will delve into St. Thérèse the Little Flower’s unexpected roles of teacher and missionary in light of her titles of Doctor of the Church and co-patron of missions.
“Letter to a Suffering Church” presented by Fr. Raymond Courtright
Bishop Robert Barron wrote “Letter to a Suffering Church” to help people frustrated by the abuse crisis. For those who have read the book, Fr. Courtright will lead a discussion of this book in order to arm us with the so we can more fully live as Christians, fighting for the dignity of all people, the victims and the sinners.
