Theology III
Mount St. Mary Seminary; Emmitsburg, MD
Brendon Schneibel grew up in Lakota, ND. In the spring of 2012, his father acquired a job in Alaska. That summer the family moved to Wasilla, Alsaka and lived there for three years. The Schneibels returned to the Diocese of Fargo in the summer of 2015. In 2018, Brendon was one of three graduates in the St. Joseph, Pillar of Families, homeschool group in Grand Forks, having been homeschooled all the way from kindergarten to graduation. The idea of the seminary was mentioned to him by family and friends for years, but it was not until his sophomore year of high school that the call was taken seriously. After some very powerful experiences in prayer during Eucharistic Adoration and the Search program, Brendon was ready to consider the call and was in contact with the vocations office for his last two years of high school. He applied to seminary and was accepted after graduation. Brendon completed his bachelor's degree in philosophy at St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward, NE and is currently pursuing theological studies at the Mount in Emmitsburg, MD. Brendon is also co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of the Military Services, USA, and is a CCPO (Chaplain Candidate Program Officer) in the United States Navy Chaplain Corps.
