Taylor Ternes was born and raised in Devils Lake, ND. Growing up he really enjoyed attending Mass with his family. He began to feel a call to the priesthood at around second grade. Throughout his youth, his faith continued to grow and he began loving Catholicism more and more. When Taylor entered high school, he began to pray more deeply about a possible vocation to the priesthood. Through prayer, the priesthood became much more attractive to him and he was given great peace about entering seminary. In his senior year of high school, he applied and was accepted as a seminarian for the Diocese of Fargo. Taylor absolutely loves seminary formation as he is able to enter ever more deeply into his knowledge of Jesus Christ and his Church, and become the person God created him to be.
