Anthony Wanner grew up in an actively Catholic family who are life-long parishioners of St. Paul’s Newman Center in Fargo, ND. Anthony started serving at Mass in 4th grade and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to be so close to the altar at Mass. He started seriously considering the priesthood at the end of his junior year of high school when the vocation director brought him with on a trip to visit St. Gregory the Great Seminary. This trip really opened his eyes to the life of a seminarian and the kind of men who went to seminary. He considered the priesthood in prayer for the next year. He applied to be a seminarian for the Diocese as he completed his senior year and was accepted shortly after to study at St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward, NE. Anthony is in his third year of studies at seminary.
